Welcome to By Serenity Salomé! Please take the time to read our salon policies carefully to ensure the best possible experience.

Appointments

All services are by appointment only. We highly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time. A confirmation email will be sent immediately after scheduling, which includes our salon address, parking instructions, and a link to reschedule or cancel up to 72 hours before your appointment. You will also receive a reminder 24 hours prior to your booking.

Due to limited space and safety considerations, we kindly ask that only the person receiving the service be present. No extra guests are allowed in the salon.
 

Deposits
To secure your appointment, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of your chosen service is required. This deposit will be applied toward your final service total.
Please choose your slot carefully, as all deposits are non-refundable.
If you reschedule or cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, a new deposit will be required.
If we reschedule on our behalf, your deposit will remain valid.
 
For 1-on-1 trainings, deposits are also non-refundable. Trainings can be rescheduled twice using the original deposit; a third reschedule requires a new deposit.
 

Squeeze-Ins
Need a last-minute booking? A €40,00 squeeze-in fee applies for appointments outside regular availability or on holidays.

Late Arrivals
Please plan to arrive on time for your appointment. We offer a 10-minute grace period for unexpected delays. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the appointment will unfortunately be canceled and your appointment will need to be rescheduled. This will be considered a late cancellation, requiring a new booking and deposit. The same policy applies to training sessions.
 
Please note: The appointment prior to yours may run out; in this event, your stylist also has a grace period of 15 minutes. 
 
 
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We kindly require at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment.
Cancellations within 48 hours = 50% of the remaining balance due
No-shows = full payment required and temporary booking block
Failure to pay outstanding fees will result in removal from our booking system until the balance is settled.
If you cancel or reschedule in time, your deposit can be transferred to a future appointment.
 

Payments & Refunds
We accept card payments, cash payments, and bank transfers.
All services are non-refundable.
If there are any issues, please contact us within 24 hours after your appointment, we’ll gladly review and provide a suitable solution. Our goal is always for you to leave completely satisfied.
Please note: Hair extensions and bundles are custom-ordered and therefore non-refundable once purchased.
 

Hair Preparation & Hair Quality Standards
Please ensure your natural hair is clean, product-free, and dry before your appointment, no grease, oil, gel, or leave-in conditioner. If you've booked a deluxe package, or any service that includes washing, this does not apply to your appointment. 

Bundles must also be washed prior to installation. This also applies to newly purchased bundles. If this is something that is not working out for you, or you did not make to do so, please book the “Wash & Drying Bundles Pre-Install” add-on.
 
We only install quality raw hair and make some exceptions for curly virgin hair only. You must text us if you are using a company that's not noted on the list below, if you fail to this, this may result in cancellation
 
We do not work with:
Amazon / AliExpress / Shein / Virgin / Synthetic / Hairshop / Hairtoko / Haarwinkel or low-quality hair.
If you arrive with poor-quality or unapproved hair, we reserve the right to refuse service.

Bundle Guide:
Traditional sew-in (leave-out): 3 bundles minimum
Microlinks: 3 bundles minimum
Tape-Ins: 200 - 300 grams, depends on desired result & natural hair
K-Tips: depends on desired result & natural hair
 

Health & Safety
If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment.
Your health and safety are our top priority. We maintain a sanitized and professional environment at all times.
Please inform us before your appointment of any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions.
While we use premium products, we cannot guarantee that no reaction will occur. If you have known sensitivities, we strongly recommend a patch test at least 48 hours before your service.
 

Trainings
Training sessions must be booked via WhatsApp at +31 6 17 46 95 59 (this is not possible through the online booking system).
Deposits for trainings are non-refundable and follow the same rescheduling and late terms mentioned above.
 

Additional Notes
Appointment times are estimates and may vary depending on the service and client.
There is free parking near our location, but please allow enough time to find a parking spot.
Clients arriving with unannounced guests will be asked to have them wait elsewhere due to space limitations.
